Making Italy's best pasta for over 140 years, Barilla's Collezione Tagliatelle is believed to have been inspired by the hair of Lucrezia Borgia and then dedicated to her by a poetic chef on the day of the wedding to Alfonso d'Este.
Though traditionally served with Bolognese, these long, flat ribbons of pasta are suitable for almost any sauce, whether it's oil, dairy, or tomato-based. Serve with bacon and mushroom for an authentic Italian taste.
Barilla Tagliatelle cooks in just 6 minutes. Simply bring water to a boil in a large pot then add the Tagliatelle along with a generous pinch of sea salt to enhance the pasta's flavour. For authentic ""al dente"" pasta, boil uncovered, stirring occasionally for 6 minutes. For pasta that's more tender, boil for an additional minute. Drain well and serve immediately with your favourite Barilla sauce.
